Today is Flag Day

Today has special significance to me.  I came to the United States from Venezuela as a young child.  I am grateful that I am a citizen of this country. I thank God that I am an American and I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands.  Today we honor that grand old flag.  May she stand forever as a symbol of freedom and liberty.
