WV Federation of Republican Women Honors Senator Patricia Rucker

The West Virginia  Federation of Republican Women has chosen West Virginia State Senator Patricia Rucker of the 16th District to receive their 2024 Legislator of the Year award. 

“I am so thrilled to have received this award.  It is truly an honor.  This organization has done so much to empower women in our state and to promote women’s issues.  I am grateful to be chosen for this award”. 

WVFRW provides the avenue for women to influence policy, develop candidates, and elect the leaders of West Virginia. We are a multi-generational, multicultural organization that provides the structure and support for political activists to learn, engage, and flourish.

The West Virginia Federation of Republican Women actively support Republican candidates, while providing strength and unity for political action. We encourage Republican women to run for office and train them to become effective Republican Party workers. Our party feels it’s important to inform our members and the electorate through political education.
